Notes: Castello della Pietra (or Genoese Castle from Pria) is an ancient fortress located in the Ligurian town of Vobbia, situated in the homonym tax valley of the Scrivia. It is the main and most characteristic monument of the hinterland Genoa, cultural and scenic attraction of the Regional Natural Park of Antola and listed as Italian national monuments.Set in a picturesque elevated position between two rocky spurs conglomerate that constitute their natural ramparts, dominating the road that skirts the stream Vobbia risalendone the course from Isola del Cantone. The castle can only be reached on foot through a path in the woods, and a staircase, after twenty minutes of impressive way. Since the spring of 2014 began extraordinary works along the path and to the structure with the temporary closure of the public site.
